Our Crazy Cook Mask never looked so adorable! by Archie McPhee Seattle on Flickr.
Via Flickr: This little wonder couldn’t stop his excitement over our store. His dad says he talked all week about this visit and our products. Aw! What a ham! Oh, I mean Turkey. Only at Archie McPhee!

After seeing some photos of paper masks by Ray and Charles Eames I made this ghost costume for my son from a roll of white parcel paper, black acrylic paint, and a glue stick.

Now I want to make more and get a whole gang of kids running around in them…

amazing masks my girlfriend gave me for my birthday
no idea where they are from or how old they are, but the paper construction, paint job, and real fur suggest “third” world, possibly India, and old but not ancient
any ideas?
