It’s been a little quite for the last month on The Monkeys Masks because I became a father five weeks ago. My son Oscar was born on the 17th June, and is doing just great (though I can’t say the same for papa - I’m exhausted!)

Despite this busy time, I found time to contribute to the Amos - Showtime project. To help sell and promote the singer Amos’s new album, his record company have sent blank 12” vinyl sleeves to artists all over the world. Eventually all these pieces of artwork will be exhibited, and will be available to buy - so you can own the album and an original piece of artwork. I guess record companies need to find ways to make money now that no one buys actual records these days, so they’re getting into the art game!

I figured that most all the artists would spend hours creating detailed illustrations on the blank white canvas, and that I should do something different - like make a mask! So here it is. Simple, beautiful, and it will be for sale really cheap!
